Peter’s background is in HR and Training, working in financial services in the City, oil, telecommunications, and construction and engineering. He is accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS) and is a Fellow of the CIPD.
Peter has over 25 years’ career coaching and career management expertise working with senior executives and mid-career professionals. His private clients have included lawyers from Magic Circle and Top 20 law firms. He has also supported several law firms providing career coaching, outplacement and HR/Training consultancy. Peter has worked with over 100 organisations in most business sectors, both private and public, and from board level to those entering the job market for the first time. He has helped professionals with many years’ experience to progress their careers by utilising their broader transferable skills, and to discover new employment options and avenues following redundancy. These might include self-employment, developing a portfolio career, starting a business or becoming an interim or NED.
Peter is fascinated by people, what makes them unique and what they can bring to the world of work. He has extensive knowledge of the job market and work search strategies. His own career has included running his own business, interim consultancy associate work, employment and self-employment, and currently managing a portfolio career.
