Fund manager – detachment to re-engagement
Marianne, a well regarded fund manager, had led a very successful team in this leading investment house for over ten years. Recent market and personnel changes had impacted on fund performance, leading to her becoming defensive and detached. Our coaching focused on helping her recognise how her behaviour affected others and gave her a better understanding of her own motivations and responses to pressure. This enabled her to re-engage with both the firm and her team, resulting in an increase in fund performance as she became more open to support and advice.
